In the News: Dr. Dwyer is now Board Certified in Phlebology
In May 2008, the American Board of Phlebology administered the first Board Certification Exam in Phlebology. To sit for this exam, physicians had to provide extensive documentation showing experience both in treating venous disorders and in venous duplex ultrasound testing. The establishment of a Board Certification Exam brings recognition to those providers in the field who have the knowledge, skill, and experience to provide quality care to phlebology patients.
