Dr. Dwyer and her staff are
committed to offering all patients the
most up-to-date treatments for varicose veins, spider veins
and venous malformations. We pride ourselves in educating
patients and other health professionals on the venous system,
its’ health, and proper treatment. Your comfort and treatment
satisfaction are important not only to Dr. Dwyer, but to her whole office staff.
To keep knowledge and skills
current, as well as hear the latest research
from around the world, Dr. Dwyer and her staff attend 1-3
extensive multi-day educational sessions every year put
on by the American College of Phlebology.
The
American College of Phlebology, founded in 1985, is
the nation’s largest phlebology society with members from
more than 18 countries. Dr. Dwyer has been an “Active Member”
since 1994 and belongs to the specialty sections of “Ultrasound”
and “Surgery”. In November, 2005, at the 19th Annual Congress
held in San Francisco, the American Medical Association
president announced that “Phlebology” will now be a recognized
medical specialty (such as cardiology, orthopedics, urology,
etc.).
